I’ve recently acquired a 1 ½ old brown beagle mix. He is the cutest little thing… well medium sized thing in the world! I love him soooo much!! I’ve had him 2 whole days and he has totally stolen my heart… I’m such a sap. Cooper, my new doggy is not my only pet. I also have a 7 year old cat named Mr. Jade. We all know how cats are, I’m just the girl that feeds him… yet he has stolen my heart also. So no, I have no heart left! The only place left is where Jesus dwells =)
Just kidding, there is much room in my heart for those who deserve it.
So as I was shopping for stuff for my new doggy, shirts and toys, things of that sort. I began to think… yea, I think sometimes, not much though =)
Dogs are sort of like children. You have to train them, teach them to obey, spend time with them, fed them, play with them, comfort them, and yes, you can even buy them clothes. They are so cool, you can even take them shopping with you into the PetsMart. And!!! I don’t have to worry about them saying, “I hate that shirt mommy and I won’t wear that!” I’ve seen children like that in stores, and I just want to beat the bricks off of them… In my perfect world, I can spank other peoples children… So I am just not sold on the kid thing yet. Kids tend to make me lose my salvation! But if I had my own, mine would surely behave. Although I still prefer dogs and cats to children for this very costly reason: I am surely not a stay at home mommy type of lady and day care for a child at 1 ½ years old can cost at the least $150.00 a week. That is about $600.00 a month. All I have to do is crate train my 1 ½ year old doggy (mine came to me trained), and save $600.00. Therefore, I still get a great companion who won’t talk back and one day tell me he hates me and his new shirt because it’s not like the other kids clothes!
So for me, it’s the doggy, who sits at my feet and loves me unconditionally =) That is until I meet that wonderful man of my dreams who is in love with Jesus, very HOTT, treats me like a princess and can afford a nanny is he wants children!
